Episode 08 - Matt and Gail Taylor Make friends with change

    • Design

In this episode we speak to Matt and Gail Taylor, founders of the MG Taylor Methodology. For over forty years, Matt and Gail have been developing models, tools, and ways of working to help us  develop solutions on the scale and scope of the (largely self-created) problems we face.

We catch up with Matt and Gail during the global CO-VID lockdown to talk about the 'Rate of change' model, developed in 1961. We talk about the exponential rate of change, the increase in complexity and the inevitable collapse due to our decreasing ability to respond.

You can find out more about the origins of MG Taylor on episode 4 of Wordplay Radio.
