Episode 22: The Tragic Death of Magnolia Shorty Black Girl True Crime

Happy Black History Month my friends, its our time to turn up. I drove our bus back to the Crescent City to tell y'all the story of Renetta Yemika-Lowe Bridgewater aka Magnolia Shorty. In 2010 Renetta was murdered in a double homicide along with Jerome Hampton and their deaths were nothing less than violence. In this episode I dive into the history of New Orleans and the Magnolia Projects which was a cradle for the most influential artists of our time. The streets tell a different story when it comes to the death of Renetta, who was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Y'all know its fucked up out here, let's talk about it.
