Episode 6: Kinder Scout Mass Trespass Rambling Talk

    • Personliga dagböcker

Come with me as I walk in the footsteps of Benny Rothman, Ewan MacColl and 400 or so other men back in 1932 as they took part in a mass trespass on the North West of England's highest peak to protest lack of access to the moorland for common folk.

This historical act of civil disobedience served as the catalyst that led to the opening of the National Parks system, the opening of the Pennine Way and eventually the "Right to Roam" in the countryside.
