What worries teachers the most about the distance learning plan? How did teachers feel about the previous hybrid model? How has the pandemic affected FCPS employees? Abrar and Nathan will welcome the presidents of our three employee organizations (Association of Fairfax Professional Educators, Fairfax Education Associations, and the Fairfax County Federation of Teachers) for a robust conversation.

How will this year’s admissions process be different from previous years? What are colleges looking for in an applicant? How do students determine if a certain school is a ‘match’ for them? Abrar Omeish and Nathan Onibudo will be joined by admissions officers from six different colleges and universities.

In this ever-changing pandemic, where are we so far as a county? Where do we need to be? What can you expect? This week we will be joined by Dr. Gloria Addo-Ayensu, Director of the Fairfax County Health Department.

What mental health resources do teens have at this time? How can teens practice mindfulness and other strategies to take care of their mental health? From a clinical perspective, what common mental health issues do teens face and what can be done to support them? We will be joined tonight by Catherine Royston, Chelsea Green, John Tessitore, Laurie Levine, and Megan Souza.
