Kashmere is named after Harinderpal's home region in India, Kashmir, and serves authentic North Indian food. When Cecilia moved from Mexico to Saskatchewan she missed and hungered for a taste of home. Not knowing how to cook the meals that she craved, she travelled back to Mexico to learn how to cook home-style meals and brought them back to Saskatchewan and created The Grotto.
