Parenting through COVID has raised questions we never imagined and forced a kind of trial and error we've never experienced before. From home schooling, to daycare, to having a 2 year old co-worker sitting in on Zoom meetings-- flexibility has been key to navigating life this past year.

Today I speak with Jamil Khoury the co-founder of Silk Road Rising, a theatre company located in downtown Chicago dedicated to presenting plays written by individuals of Asian and Middle Eastern descent.

He’s a current artist in residence, and the only non-visual artist in residence at this time.
