    Chris Warner is one of the most accomplished mountaineers in America. He has led over 200 expeditions into the worlds highest and wildest places. He has summited Everest, K2 and many other massive mountains all over the world. He was the first American to solo an 8000m peak, grinding Shisha Pangma is a non-stop 34 hour epic. His adventure-filled background is an inspiration. He is the author of the book High Altitude Leadership. He teaches leadership at the Wharton School of Business and has extensive leadership consulting experience in the business world.

    Zac Zaharias is a deeply experienced high altitude mountaineer from Australia. He has summited six of the world’s fourteen 8000m peaks. He was part of the 1st Australian ascent of Broad Peak and Dhaulagiri. He was part of the 2nd Australian ascent of Denali in Alaska in 1982. He has climbed Everest, Spantik Peak, and Ganesh IV, among many others. He is the president of the Canberra Climbers Association. Today he shares some of Australia’s history of high altitude mountaineering and his stories from decades of frosty freedom on the shining merciless sharks teeth of the Himalaya. This conversation is full of rich insight and valuable knowledge for aspiring climbers.

She has traversed the Norwegian Arctic and has climbed towering mountains throughout central and southern Africa, the European Alps, South America and the Himalaya. She has led a life rich in mountaineering epics and outdoor wonder. She is an inspiration to many. Today she shares her enthusiasm for the wilderness and what she has learned while step-kicking and front-pointing her way into the ranks of mountaineering royalty.     High Altitude with Tim Macartney-Snape

    In 1984, Tim Macartney-Snape and Greg Mortimer were the first Australians to reach the summit of Mount Everest. They climbed the mountain by a new route on its the Northern face without supplemental oxygen. In 1990, Tim Macartney-Snape became the first person to walk and climb from sea level to the summit of Mount Everest. A journey of more than a thousand kilometres. His record of climbs include Dunagiri, Ama Dablam, Annapurna, Everest, and Gasherbrum IV among many others. He is a member of the Order of Australia. He was awarded the Australian Sports Medal and the Keys to the City of Sydney for his achievements in mountaineering. He has authored a number of books including Mountain Adenturer, Being Outside and Everest - From Sea to Summit. He is the founder of the Sea to Summit company, actively contributes to the nonprofit sector and has multiple films to his name. Today we bring you the eminent Australian mountaineer Tim Macartney-Snape.
