That's right, our "Summer of X" continues as we tackle The Rogue Cut of X-Men Days of Future Past. And when we say this is an underrated film, you'll understand why when we talk about the absolute POWERHOUSE year for blockbuster films that was 2014.

After last week's anti-climactic end to the original X-Men trilogy, we decided to go back to the source material. We're reading The Dark Phoenix Saga to see what could have been. But be warned, this saga is not so easily digestible for comic novices.

A rare occasion in film where the sequel is better than the original? We certainly think X2 fits the bill. We did get a bit sidetracked at the beginning of the episode with our discussion on Quiet On Set. Trigger warning, we do briefly mention some of the abuse that the documentary covers.
