S.3 Episode 7: Henry Kaestner | Entrepreneurial Generosity

This bonus episode of the podcast brings us the insight of Henry Kaestner. Based in the Bay Area of California, Henry is the Co-Founder of the Faith Driven Entrepreneur and Faith Driven Investor ministries, and together with his team seeks to serve faith driven investors, funders, partners, advisors, and entrepreneurs through content and community. Henry is also a Co-Founder and Partner at Sovereign’s Capital, a private equity and venture capital management company that invests in faith driven entrepreneurs in South East Asia and the US. Prior to this, he was instrumental in the establishment of NASDAQ company Bandwidth and its sister company, Republic Wireless, which share the founding values of Faith, Family, Work and Fitness (in that order). Henry has been involved in a number of other ministries and philanthropic activities including DurhamCares and Praxis, and sits on a variety of business and ministry boards (including the board of Generosity Path). S.3 Episode 6: Anting Liu | Replicating Generosity

S.3 Episode 6: Anting Liu | Replicating Generosity

In this episode, Lucy McDonald meets entrepreneur Anting Liu. Anting is the Founder and Board Chair at Teach for Taiwan, which places graduates from local universities as teachers in poor or neglected public schools, with a vision to boost rural education. Anting moved from Taiwan to study at Princeton and later became well-known for delivering inspiring TED talks, including one entitled 'Connecting my purpose with my past' in 2016, which really struck a chord within the Generosity Path network. Having taught in places such as Haiti and Ghana, with similar issues of systemic poverty to her home country of Taiwan, she was inspired to go back and improve under-serviced schools, affiliating her organisation with the Teach for All model. Impressively, Anting has appeared on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list. Her conversation with Lucy reaffirms the powerful 'domino effect' of generosity; how one act can spark another and another, until the whole world is ultimately caught up in the generosity movement!

S.3 Episode 4: Fiona Stewart | Creative Generosity

Fiona is a writer, performer and creative consultant based in Glasgow, Scotland. She is the founder and Creative Director of Foolproof Creative Arts. Recently, Fiona has filmed the facilitation videos to guide you through our new online Journey of Generosity retreat.
"I think creativity and generosity are closely linked, in as much as anything I write or perform or do, I'm very conscious of that connection with God as a creator – my Heavenly Father enables me and resources me to do that... And that, to me, is a reflection of God's generosity of Spirit."

    S.3 Episode 3: Mid-season special | Everyday Generosity

    S.3 Episode 3: Mid-season special | Everyday Generosity

On this podcast, we often hear some truly remarkable stories of people who are in a position to offer significant financial support towards starting new ministries or taking charitable endeavours to new heights. Their stories are both inspirational and aspirational. But we also want to celebrate those who are just starting out on their generosity journeys; and those who can’t single-handedly fund pioneering projects but who are perhaps able to give in other ways. So in this episode, we profile a few people who you may not have heard of, but who have themselves either witnessed, participated in, or received transformative generosity. We hope this will inspire you to think about the many ways you might be able to be part of the generosity movement yourself.
Featuring Lucy Rae, Lydia McAllister, Will Buttrick & Sarah Sawyer-McCarthy.
