On this episode of the Gnomstic Deluge we are looking to the Norse Poetic Edda.  While it contains stories of Odin, Thor,  Loki, and other gods and their myths, today we will be focusingon the Havamal.  The Havamal is a book of practical wisdom that the average 13th century Scandinavian could benefit from following, and modern society could too.  Enjoy!

On this episode of the Gnostic Deluge we are covering a book written by Manly P Hall.  Before the Heros Journey made famous by Joseph Campbell, Manly P Hall published his first book in 1922.  In it he explains how the symbols that we have in religious and popular myths and stories can he each of us on our journey through Gods' school of learning: our lives.  Enjoy!

On this episode of the Gnostic Deluge, we are finishing what we started last episode as we cover the second half of Arnold Bennett's "How to Live on 24 Hours a day."  Arnold showed us that we have time that we don't use productively as we are wrapped up in our daily work; now it is time to take back some of that time.  We can use the reclaimed time to start to develop, control, expand and explore our mind and begin to make the most of all 24 hours a day.  Enjoy!

On this episode of the Gnostic Deluge, Mark decided to do something a little different and cover one of his favorite, practical self help books. In this episode we discuss Arnold Bennetts, "How to live on 24 Hours a day".  This first episode we cover the first half of the book which talks about the importance of our time and how to find "extra" time that we did not realize we had.  Enjoy!

On this episode of the Gnostic Deluge, we cover the second half of Asclepius from the Hermetica.  This portion of the text covers the famous Egyptian Apocalypse known popularly as "The Prophecy of Thoth".  We also discuss the true power od consciousness, why God gave it to humans, and how few people find the right way to use it.  This one starts off a little rough, but we pick up speed as we get into it.
