The Mom Juice Myth, Pt. 1

The Mom Juice Myth, Pt. 1

On this special episode of Greetings Podcast, I am excited to share...

...that I have been sober for an entire year!

I couldn't think of a better way to honor my journey than to get my amazing friend Crissy Rodriquez on the share to share her experience with sobriety & all of the knowledge she has on the subject. She is a mother of the cutest little girl, and her story of overcoming and growth is so powerful.

The modern mother is plagued with the idea that she can (and should) rely on alcohol to help her cope with motherhood; but today, we challenge that notion by sharing our stories. Stories in which our lives got exponentially better when we left it behind.

Ending The On-Again, Off-Again Relationship With Perfectionism

Ending The On-Again, Off-Again Relationship With Perfectionism

On our first Episode of the new Greetings Podcast, I sit down with fellow entrepreneur and activist, Taylor Hatfield, as we discuss perfectionism in relation to motherhood, business, self-image, romantic relationships and trauma. Join us as we explore ways to take off the masks, be more vulnerable and engage authentically with those we love. Most often, perfectionism or over achieving, is a coping skill used to avoid discomfort that is similar or feels similar to previously experienced trauma. We can invite others to show up and be exactly who they are, by prioritizing truth and being mindful of our presence on social media. We talk about the women inspiring us to be real right now, like Chrissy Teigen, Starr Hawkins, aka Babymommafit, and Brené Brown.

If I waited for the perfect moment, the perfect health, the perfect babysitter or equipment, I would never have started this podcast and we wouldn't be sharing today. So I thank you immensely for allowing me to exist in this space as my authentic, imperfect self, and I encourage you to show up the same way in your own life and on your own platforms.

You are seen, you are valued, and you are loved 💖
