40-year-old Colonial Heights man dies in Henrico motorcycle crash
A 40-year-old man from Colonial Heights died after crashing his motorcycle in Henrico's West End May 29, according to Henrico Police. The crash was reported at around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of West Broad Street and Wistar Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Christian Gotay Rivera in the roadway. Three people facing second-degree murder charges in the death of Irvo Otieno have had their charges downgraded. Wavie Jones, Kaiyell Sanders and Brandon Rodgers are now charged with involuntary manslaughter, according to online court records.
