- Religion och spiritualitet
Hi, my name is Mitch Davis and I’m the host of HIStory, where I get to share the Good News of the Bible with you. My desire is to be able to connect the many stories found in the scriptures with YOUR life. In a sense, I’m wanting to connect Jesus with you through His wondrous word!

Is my life pointless?
The “daily grind”, and numerous other depressing variables, can wear us down to the point where we question the meaning of life…. my life. If you have ever thought this – and nearly everyone has – then please join me this Sunday morning when we ask the question “is my life pointless?”.

Image of God
Just as children take on the characteristic traits of their parents, such is also the case between us and our heavenly Father… as we’ve been made in His image (Genesis 1:26). The problem is that we don’t always reflect the character – or “image” – of God, thus living contrary to His nature. Still, God graciously has given us Jesus – who is the “exact representation” (Hebrews 1:3) of God, so that we can follow Him and be conformed into the image of His Son (Romans 8:29).

The Trust Factor
Kids seem to “make friends” so easily don’t they? On the other hand, because we have “lived life” and felt the sting of heartaches and betrayal, it’s not so easy for us adults to trust others. This is especially true when getting to know Jesus – who claims to be the Savior of the world – and His church.
