Hollyland at NAB 2024

Hollyland showed off the Pyro 7 and the VenusLiv, along with their Mars 4k wireless devices at NAB 2024. We take a quick look at these new products.

Hollyland Pyro 7

This is a wireless confidence monitor with RX/TX ability. The main feature is to allow up to 4 wireless connections, and 2 camera control through a button press.

The Pyro 7 is part of a bigger Pyro series of wireless transmitters, but this is their confidence monitor of the 3 versions Hollyland has released.

The Pyro 7 also can check your histogram, color balance, zebra, and many more functions.

Two battery bay in back, with direct HDMI and SDI in/out as the on-camera transmitter. No mention if you can use with another wireless transmitter so the Pyro 7 can be a receiver.

The Pyro 7 will be out in June.

Hollyland VenusLiv

This is a wireless video camera that can do horizontal and vertical video. Setup like a prosumer style camera, you’ll be able to get the shot, and adjust using the 5 inch touchscreen.
