This date is also now the national memorial day for victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Yingying, sporadic burnings of “hell money” are the only visible sign of the old normal. Brendan shares LA updates, and together they discuss challenges of the present, hopes for the near-term future, and some of the bigger broader potentials for the post-pandemic world.
