In one of my favorite book REJECT ME I LOVE IT by JOHN FULHMAN says that Consider that elephants are afraid of mice and some 250 pound linebackers are afraid of spiders. Realize also that 99.9% of the population is para- lyzed, at least some of the time, by the fear of rejection! While it is but a word, the power of its ability to limit us, if we let it, is as big as a mountain.
We are going to focus on what may be a small but pow- erful reality of our daily lives. Some of us manage to overcome it some of the time, while many of us do every- thing we can to avoid it. A small percentage of us have even mastered it to the point where we actually embrace it. That is where I hope to take all of you who are open-minded enough to read these few pages, and take control of your fear of re- jection for the rest of your lives.
