Welcome to the Illuminate podcast! In this 11th episode, I will be interviewing Tinesha Cherry. Author, Trainer & International Speaker, CEO of Tinesha Cherry Speaks and Founder, She Strong International.
Tinesha Cherry is a renowned author, poet, and award-winning international speaker. She has been involved in mentoring, leading, empowering and influencing audiences for more than 22 years. As a professional speaker, Mrs. Cherry uses a combination of motivational speaking, skillful poetry and compelling story telling to deliver a message of hope and inspiration to teach others how to rise above adversity and achieve their best personal, professional and educational dreams. Mrs. Cherry has touched the lives of more than 100,000 individuals in more than 24 states and 4 countries.
Mrs. Cherry is a devoted advocate, advisor, and leader in support of women and youth development. As the founder of two organizations (Project D.R.E.A.M. and She Strong INTL) that focus on the education, motivation and advancement of women and youth, Mrs. Cherry has helped some of the most underserved individuals in our society dream beyond their reality, overcome insecurities and take the actions necessary to achieve the realization of their goals, dreams and aspirations.
Tinesha has developed a women’s empowerment workshop designed to help women of all ages, backgrounds and experiences achieve greatness by being bold, brave, beautiful, brilliant, and balanced. Through her workshop, hundreds of women from across the country and around the world have been equipped with the courage to face challenges head on, the strength to grow their resilience and the mindset to awaken, build, strengthen and reveal their inner champion.
Tinesha Cherry has held a formal leadership position within her organization for nearly 20 years. As a 5th level manager, Mrs. Cherry has trained hundreds of leaders across the country to maximize their leadership skills and lead with confidence. Through her personally developed leadership training, both new and seasoned leaders from across the country have learned to overcome insecurities, build courage, confidence, and character, and become balanced and respected leaders and mentors.
Mrs. Cherry is the author of multiple books and a plethora of distinguished poetry. Mrs. Cherry’s work has been featured in several local and national publications and she is the recipient of numerous awards and acknowledgements for her work in the community.
