Since the October 7 massacres parts of Hollywood and the wider entertainment industry have been accused of failing to condemn Hamas in a meaningful way. 
At the biggest showbiz event of the year, the Oscars, Director Jonathan Glazer, accepting the International Feature academy award for Zone of Interest said, "we stand here as men who refute their Jewishness and the Holocaust being hijacked by an occupation". 
The Holocaust Survivors’ Foundation USA has condemned the speech as “morally indefensible” and “disgraceful”. 
The Sun’s David Ross speaks with Leo Pearlman, managing partner of the production company Fulwell 73, to get his take on Hollywood's response and his experiences.

Negotiations to free hostages kidnapped by the Hamas terror group during the October 7 massacres have been complicated by the deaths of scores of Palestinians during a stampede as an aid delivery took place in Gaza. More than 4,000 anti-semitic incidents were recorded in Britain in 2023, with the "sheer volume" following on from the Hamas attacks of October 7th. There are increasing calls for the complete dissolution of The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) after a string of corruption allegations. At least 12 employees are accused of participating in the attacks of October 7th. On June 27th 1976, Air France Flight 139, left Tel Aviv for Paris, carrying 246 mainly Jewish and Israeli passengers. The plane made a stop in Athens, where it picked up another 58 people.
Shortly after takeoff, it was hijacked and the flight was diverted first to Libya and then Entebbe Airport in Uganda.
After a tense few days, Israel launched an audacious and ultimately successful rescue operation that is considered today to be one of the greatest counter-terror operations of all time.
