Kendrick Lamar is the greatest MC of his era. Is it even a question? But how did he get to be that? In this throwback interview, I talked to Kendrick to find out how he became Kendrick. We talk about how he got to be so good. What are his favorite words? We also talk about his best verses and his best song. And what was the impact of seeing dead bodies on the street when he was a kid. Awesome conversation with a genius.

Arlan Hamilton - I Steal White Privilege
You don’t need to work 50 hours a week to get rich. You need to make your money work for you. And you need to know that you can infiltrate the power structure and make their rules for you. Arlan Hamilton is an amazing Black female Venture Capitalist who was homeless not long ago and now has a crowdfunded VC fund that anyone can join (theoretically—right now it’s closed, slots sold out in a day! But I’m hoping it opens back up soon!) But here she talks about going from homeless to VC and how she’s trying to create business opportunities for Black, brown, female and LGBT founders because they are an under utilized resource even though they know how to make a dollar out of 15 cents. A throwback to an important conversation from 2018 with a woman who’s figured out how to steal white privilege and make it work for her.
