Episode 63: Is International Community finally turning against Palestine occupiers - Br Wassim Doureihi and Br Amer Alwahwah

Considerable number of politicians, including Muslim rulers, around the world seem to be concerned and raising voices about illegal occupation of Palestine by 'israel'. One such example being President of Turkey, Tayyib Erdogan,  using harshest words against the occupiers.

Are these politicians, and international organizations, finally realising the attrocities unleashed by occupier 'israel' and raising legitimate voices against it?

Listed to the activist from Palestine roots, Br Amer Alwahwah, discuss the issue with Br Wassim Doureihi.

Episode 61: Reverence of the Creator in a Godless Society - Br Mohammed Trad

Episode 61: Reverence of the Creator in a Godless Society - Br Mohammed Trad

The instinct of reverence is innate and constant in human beings, for it is the feeling of the need for the Creator and the Organiser, regardless of how people interpret that Creator.
The instinct of reverence does not exist amongst the animals, it the only instinct unique to man. It is triggered when man perceives his own weakness and mortality which generates certain emotions
Man is frail, weak, easily hurt, prone to illness and is destined for death. He is nothing but a spec of sand in the vast Universe which submits to Allah (swt). Realising ones mortality aids in sparking the feeling of reverence and veneration of the immortal, Allah (swt).
The Western culture detracts people away from reverence. The ignition of the survival and procreation instincts dominates Western societies and those strongly affected by its culture. Unfortunately this reality has afflicted some Muslims where the reverence instinct is only ignited very occasionally, possibly in the month of Ramadhan, during an illness or when facing a death.

Episode 60: Tawakkul in Allah - ARE WE PUTTING ALL OUR TRUST IN ALLAH? - Br Yahya Alam & Br Mohammad Wahwah

Episode 60: Tawakkul in Allah - ARE WE PUTTING ALL OUR TRUST IN ALLAH? - Br Yahya Alam & Br Mohammad Wahwah

Trust in Allah is the path to reassurance and safety in the world of anxiety and disappointment
Here comes the role of Tawakkul, trust in Allah, which Allah commanded the prophets and the believers to abide by, and Tawakkul on Allah the Almighty is linked back to the Islamic creed, in it the confession of the servant and his submission to Allah, and handing over all his affairs to the one Creator, who disposes all his affairs, and the Manager of all his conditions, small and large.
In the biography of Sayyiduna Ibrahim, Sayyiduna Musa, Sayyiduna Esa, Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ and the other prophets, peace and blessings be upon them all, we have a good example, as they adhered to the rulings and orders of Allah, relying on Him (swt), taking the reasons leading to the results.
The Muslims will not return to their glory and strength without truly understanding the idea of Tawakkul in Allah in the correct manner and truly having trust in Allah (swt), because the greatest of things can not be achieved only by material strength. It is limited no matter how much it is, but the belief that there is a greater power; an unlimited power behind them who helps them, which is the power of Allah the Almighty.

Episode 58: Muharram, Hijra and the birth of the Islamic State - Br Soadad Doureihi

Episode 58: Muharram, Hijra and the birth of the Islamic State - Br Soadad Doureihi

Muharram, the new year, a pledge, and the significance of the Hijri migration.

Being in the blessed month of Muharram (1443AH), let us reflect on its significance of being chosen as the beginning of the Islamic calendar.

    - The beginning of the Islamic Calendar was adopted during the rule of Umar (ra). When the lands began to expand so far, they needed a reference time when he began to issue written orders to his governors. Ie. Abu Musa al-Ashary (ra) complained that Umar's letters needed to be dated.

    - A second reason for initiating the Hijri date was when a complaint over a debt reached Umar (ra). They knew the month but were confused over the year, so Umar decided to introduce the calendar.

    - After consulting with the companions, they agreed that the Hijri migration should be the starting point.

    - The reason Hijrah (migration) was chosen over other significant Islamic events was because it was considered the most essential event that established the Islamic nation and separated between truth and evil.
