In our last episode, we finished on June 9, 68. Nero was 30 years and six months old. He had ruled for 13 years and 8 months. On June 10, 68, while he was still in Spain, The Senate declared the governor of Hispania Tarraconensis, northern Spain, 73 year old Servius Sulpicius Galba, to be the new Emperor. Just awesome!
No I can’t believe Life of augustus has come to an end.. I starten listening to Julius Caesar and continued with Augustus. Just love theese series and even tried to implement theese series to out family roadtrips. Unfortunately with no great success. My daughter rather listens to some kid-songs and the wife don’t care for history.
Next up for me is the Alexander series which I’m really looking forward to. Yeah I know it’s been out there for quite som time, but hey DBAC, I wanna plow through one at a time while at work.
Keep up the awesome job!

Best podcast ever
Before Cameron came into my life and taught me everything anyone can need to know about Napoleon I’ve been an avid listener to all podcast from him, and now also Ray, they have a wealth of knowledge that I can’t imagine how they get hold of it all, let alone keep it in. This as the follow up on the Caesar Podcast is just magnificent. First of, go listen to the Caesar one if you haven’t already, its grand! Now here you get to follow the start of the Empire of Rome in detail and the life of everyone that’s involved in it as well. They do it with a large portion of humor, some great music choices (and who would have known that so many hits of the 80s are originally from the romans) and some seldom seen personal chemistry between the hosts.
It is just a great show, and you get enjoyment for hours on end with each show, so check this out, you will not be disappointed (unless you are dead inside, then even this can’t help you).
