Christof Paar is Founding Director of the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy and Research Professor at the Univ. of Massachusetts Amherst. He has taught crypto and security courses for 25 years to thousands of students in the US & Europe. He also taught extensively in industry, including courses at NASA, Motorola & Philips. Christof has given invited talks at MIT, Yale, Stanford, IBM and Intel. He co-founded, with Cetin Koc, the Workshop on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems (CHES) and has 200+ scientific publications on applied cryptography.
