While the Market-based View (#mbv) focuses on the market and industry analysis, the Resource-based View (#rbv) focuses on the firm's internal #resources and #comeptencies (or #capabilities). After years of academic debate, we discovered that firms need both and that there are minor contradictions and both can be applied simultaneously.
