Jesus re-defined what it meant to ask people to follow. He and His disciples are approaching Jerusalem for the final time. We, of course, now know that he was going to be crucified, but his followers thought he would be coronated. His followers were about to find out what it meant to “Pick up your cross and follow Me.”

How do you recognize what’s real? Especially in this day and age with technology making it easier than ever to commit fraud. When it comes to the church we need to make sure that the voice we are hearing is that of Jesus. He reminds us that “I am the Good Shepherd, My sheep follow me because they recognize My voice.” We need to be sure in the time that we are in that we do truly know His voice to make sure that we are not lead astray.

What does it take to follow Jesus? This is a good question as we saw so many attending last Sunday’s Easter service. But more than attending a service we have a greater call to Follow Him! What does that look like? Luke 9:23 tells us that it does come with a cost as it states, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross daily and follow me.” That’s why for those who choose to follow Jesus, it’s tough and it takes grit!

A Lot Can Happen in Seven Days || Ed Beeson
Was Jesus really raised from the dead? The Apostle Paul thought it was a Core Concept to our faith when he wrote 1 Corinthians 15:14 ISV. ‘If the Messiah has not been raised, then our message means nothing and your faith means nothing.’ As far as he was concerned, if the resurrection never happened, there’s no point in telling you it did. But what if it’s not a lie? What if it really did happen? Is there a solid reason to believe Jesus rose from the dead? We answer these questions in today’s Easter message.

A Good Life - Part 5 || Ed Beeson
What is religion really all about? For a lot of people, it’s about what you do. For example, going to church, reading your Bible, praying. For others it’s about morality, the things you don’t do, such as drinking, foul language, smoking, and sex. But one of the things that encouraged us to do is treat others right. We commonly refer to this as “The Golden Rule”. What does this truly look like and are we. doing it properly? We explore this in today’s message.
