Industry Insights: Interview with Fiamma's MD and UK representative
Ep. 50: Industry Insights: Fiamma - interview with the UK represtentative (Karl) and a visit to its HQ in Milan, Italy, to speak to one of the joint MDs (Charles).
Fiamma supplies accessories (roll-our awnings, bike racks, and much more) to the global RV industry and has stayed a family-run business since it was founded in the 1940s.
During my visit, I saw how much it's been investing in expanding its production facility to meet future demand, plus I also got an interesting insight into its R&D dept.

Would compulsory towing training help or harm the caravan industry?
Ep. 45: The DVSA's survey on towing skills and tuition made me wonder whether compulsory towing training would help or harm the caravan industry. What do you think?
My initial reaction was that it would harm the caravan industry as it creates a barrier to entry, but then I wondered if the tuition would make consumers better equipped - and safer on the roads.
