One of Seven. The Disappearance of Joe Halpern. Rocky Mountain
Hundreds of people go missing in US National Parks every year. While many of those cases eventually find resolve, some people, like Joe Halpern, remain missing as the seasons change and the decades pass. Despite the passing of time, loved ones never forget their people who wandered into the woods and were swallowed by the trees - and they’ll do everything it takes to find them.

The Disappearance of Everett Ruess ft. Locations Unknown
Today we are joined by Mike and Joe, hosts of the Locations Unknown Podcast, as we dive into one of Utah's greatest enduring mysteries. Everett Ruess was a poet, artist, and writer who had dreams of leaving modern society behind to live in and explore the American West. When his family stopped receiving letters from him, and no one heard from or had contact with Everett for months - concern mounted. Search parties scoured high and low, but were left with more questions than answers after what they discovered in the process.

Warning: extremely long ads
I love this podcast and look forward towards it every week, but there are a LOT of ad breaks which would be fine (it's free entertainment so I usually never complain about ads) but the ad breaks are often enough and more importantly often over three/four-minutes long (longer ad breaks than any other podcast I've ever listened to and I am a 24/7 podcast listener) that it's *impossible* to do anything while you're listening without having to pause what you're doing to skip even half of the ad (or the chore you're trying to ease with a podcast is done before the first ad break because they're SO long) and it diminishes so, SO much of my enjoyment of this show that as much as I love it I could never recommend it without this warning.
If you love commercials, this one is for you!
Warning! Insane amounts of advertising!!
Wonderful
Great hosts, good research and great knowledge! Your ode to Ian made me cry and I raised my glass alongside you. Sadly I haven’t got the means to come to you on your trip. But hopefully you’ll still do them when I can save more money. Love you girls, you’ve inspired me to embrace nature more and I always watch my back.
Love from Sweden
