Nehemiah 1 - Nehemiah | Build up, in and out Parkerville Baptist Church Sermons Podcast

    • Kristendom

Anthony brings us the message. He says: "Over the next eight weeks, we will be exploring the Book of Nehemiah. Nehemiah's project was about building walls, but it's also about building a community. It's about building up, building in, and building out:
- Building up means strengthening our individual relationship with God. It's about prayer, study, and surrender. It's about being rooted in God's Word and being empowered by His Spirit.
- Building in means building relationships with others. It's about community, fellowship, and serving together. It's about creating a sense of belonging and being part of something bigger than ourselves.
- Building out means taking what we've built inside and outside. It's about shining our light in the world, sharing our faith with others, and making a difference in our community. It's about being a witness to the hope and love of Jesus.

As we explore the Book of Nehemiah, I want to encourage you to ask yourself: What does it mean to build up my relationship with God? What does it mean to build in with others? And what does it mean to build out in my community? Let's discover how Nehemiah and his team prayed, gave, and owned their project to glorify God. And let's see how we can apply these same principles to our own lives and ministries, becoming a beacon of hope in our city."
