Not interested in college? How about a trade Note: to Self

By now society should have come to terms that college is not for everyone. Nowadays and in the past years, high schools has pushed for students to attend college; enrolling students in college readiness courses, and university visits. The focus seems to always be on higher education, but that’s not the best fit for everyone. We all know how expensive college is, and we all can’t afford it. What about the students that may want to just work after high school or invest in themselves? Can they also be successful too? Schools need to bring more awareness to the other opportunities students are able to do if they rather go another route than college.
