* Sophie: In Disney movie news, Disney has set release dates for a lot of upcoming movies. These are down the road a bit, but here you go: TRON: Ares will be arriving on October 10, 2025, followed by The Mandalorian & Grogu on May 22, 2026, Toy Story 5 on June 19, 2026, and Live-Action Moana on July 10, 2026. Moana was pushed out from June 27, 2025 initial release date.







* Brenda: When Disneyland was being built, Walt Disney would take audiences behind the scenes of the development of the park. * Mike: Disney announced that the Autopia over in Tomorrowland at Disneyland is getting a change – away from the gasoline powered cars and instead going to electric vehicles. Stay tuned for more updates on that as we learn more.







* Sophie: Walt Disney Imagineering recently filed a patent to possibly change the flight mechanism for Soarin’. If this goes forward, it could mean a greater experience for the ride! This is not set in stone, so stay tuned while we await further developments on what may transpire here.







* Brenda: The construction walls around the Ye Olde Christmas Shop recently came down, which means the refurbishment of this store in the Magic Kingdom is almost completed!

* Mike: Coming to Epcot’s CommuniCore Plaza stage from June 10 - September 6, a new Encanto sing-along. Called “¡Celebración Encanto!”, the show will feature many of the favorite songs for kids of all ages to enjoy!







* Sophie: Congratulations are in order for Disney’s Aladdin, which celebrated it’s 10th Anniversary on Broadway on March 20, 2024. The show, which plays at the historic New Amsterdam Theatre, is one of the most successful productions in Broadway history.

* Mike: Disney released a new ticket offer for Walt Disney World on Tuesday, March 12th. They have a 4 day, 4 park Magic Ticket that starts at $99 per day plus tax, or a 3 day, 3 park ticket that starts at $89 per day plus tax. They also have a Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket for a 3 or 4 day ticket starting at $219 per ticket plus tax.







* Sophie: Spring is almost upon us, people – and here in NC, the weather has been quite springlike for a while now. One important thing to remember when you are at the parks is to make sure you stay hydrated – drink plenty of water! Not doing so will lead to dehydration, exhaustion, and even worse. And don’t forget, the water is free at Disney!







* Brenda: For those of us that love to make our dining reservations (or make them for our clients), Disney is going to be releasing an update that will allow us to search for dining availability across multiple days!
