Parenting Classes With Simone Allyene
An interview with a parent who recently graduated after taking PAREDOS’ parenting class. Simone Alleyne is a Dentist and community worker who is the parent of one daughter who takes parenting seriously. Simone shares how she benefited from the classes and what she would advice parents to do in preparation for becoming a parent.

Mr. Ifill Is The Owner And Co-founder of The Ifill School And Ifill Lessons.
The following Pause for Parenting program features an interview with Akeem Ifill. Mr. Ifill is the owner and co-founder of The Ifill School and Ifill Lessons. He holds a bachelor’s degree in creative arts from the University of The West Indies, he has written and marked for the Caribbean Examinations Council in CSEC and CAPE examination Currently one of the youngest principals on the island, he believes that all students should be exposed to different activities and is very vocal about education reform and the inclusion of modern methods of teaching.
During the programme he shares with us an interesting and heart-warming story that involved one of his students and his school. We also discussed how we are knowingly and sometimes unknowingly quickly write off children when we believe they are not measuring up at particular age in a traditional age .
