The Losing Side of Love (S2E12)

The Losing Side of Love (S2E12)

In today’s episode, my mission is to end the shame cycle of being the one who gets more hurt at the end of a relationship.

What if we allowed ourselves to wear our pain and hurt as proud representations of our ability to feel deeply and share love?

This episode is for you if you want to learn or be reminded of how to…

    Navigate your humanness through pain
Overcome the story of being the “weak” “hurt” one when a relationship ends
Release the fear of judgment from yourself and others
Allow yourself to be vulnerable through your heartbreak
Meet yourself in unconditional love through your pain
Turn your pain into purpose and your hurt into healing

This episode is a tribute to all those who have been broken up with, cheated on, or have been the one to initiate the breaking up but feel regret or grief after.

This episode is a celebration of those who are brave enough to be vulnerable and to share their heart to the world, even when it feels like it’s broken.

    Own Your Sisterhood (S2E11)

    Own Your Sisterhood (S2E11)

Growing up, I didn’t have a lot of *real* female friendships. For me, women were nice to have around but at a safe distance because I was raised to believe there could only be one alpha female and it damn sure was going to be me.

And then I moved to Austin and found myself thrown into more feminine energy, female friendships and sisterhood circles than ever before.

It has been beautiful, overwhelming, powerful and expansive on so many levels and I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to open myself to a side of life that I always pushed away from.

In this very special episode, I brought together 3 of my favorite girlfriends in Austin to talk about all things embodied femininity, true sisterhood, sex, building deep friendships and owning our power as women - both individually and collectively.

We talk about the real, the raw and the necessary.

Huge shout out to my incredible guests - Process and Mindset Architect Ellen B. Tsai, former pro volleyball player Becky Perry and Pleasure Coach Lauren Schaeffer for sharing their hearts (and their sass) with me and this community.

In this episode we chat about…

✨ How we can connect more deeply with other women

✨ Being in integrity with your womanhood

✨ Taking personal responsibility for your pleasure

✨ How you can support the women in your life more fully

✨ How we move from competing to celebrating each other

✨ How female friendships can amplify your feminine power

This episode is heartfelt, funny and a must-listen so get your headphones in, go on a walk and enjoy the beautiful sisterhood that unfolds.

Are You Responding or Reacting to Life? (S2E10)

Are You Responding or Reacting to Life? (S2E10)

Right before every trip I have taken to Costa Rica in the last year, a book has found me before I left. It is never a book I go looking for but one that seems to find its way to me and without question, I read it.

First it was The Monk who Sold His Ferrari, then it was the Celestine Prophecy and this trip it has been The Way of the Peaceful Warrior.

As it usually goes in life, if we open our eyes to the synchronicities that exist all around us, every book has aligned perfectly with what was happening around me and has acted as a guide and a teacher to navigate my humanness.

The Way of the Peaceful Warrior could not have come to me at a more perfect time. The book’s general theme: Responding vs Reacting to life (one of many, many powerful lessons awaiting you in the pages) was the inspiration for today’s episode.

My most recent Own Your Shit retreat in Costa Rica was far from what I imagined it would be.

As hard as it was, it gave me one of the greatest gifts I could ever ask for (as it also usually goes in life, if we choose to see it that way): Choose to react and lose myself or choose to respond and find myself.

And so I chose to respond and the results of that choice will have ripple effects for the rest of my life.

    Listen to today’s episode if…

🤷🏻‍♀️ You have historically let your emotions control you and your decisions and you are ready to change it

🤷🏻‍♀️ You want to learn how to stay grounded when shit seems like it’s hitting the fan around you

🤷🏻‍♀️ You want to experience the unparalleled freedom that comes from not letting your automatic behaviors and responses rule your life

There is so much power in choosing to take the space to consciously respond to life.

I hope this episode inspires you to own that power of choice and choose your highest self

    ✨ Curious about sober living
✨ Needs to be reminded that their past does not have to define their future

How To Stop Repeating the Same Patterns (S2E8)

In this car episode, Danielle talks about the human experience and all of the levels we go through. Danielle talks about early morning conversations while running with friends, and the beautiful themes that can arise there — like the levels of the game of life.

    Owning My Abortions (S2E7)

    Owning My Abortions (S2E7)

In this deeply personal and “blunt-worthy” episode, Danielle shares her abortion experiences and where she thinks we got it wrong in terms of educating women about their bodies and their rights.

Danielle shares where she wishes she had more love and support, as she hopes to normalize the conversation around abortions and women’s rights to their bodies.

This episode is for you if…

You want to hear from someone who has experienced the abortion process
You want to understand the larger issues behind why women get pregnant unexpectedly in the first place
You want to support the fight for women’s rights to their bodies

Danielle hopes that by hearing her story, you are inspired to share yours, educate yourself further and fight for women’s rights everywhere.

If you are interested in helping women access abortions safely, and you are able to, consider donating to one of these organizations: The National Abortion Federation, Access Reproductive Care-Southeast, Indigenous Women Rising, The Yellowhammer Fund.
