How do we live the love of Jesus and how do we live loved by Jesus 
 
1 John 4:7-8
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Jesus responds with these words
‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
 
This is what loving Jesus look like 

As we start a year of discipleship there is only one way to begin any journey – PRAYER.  In this episode of the POPCAST we will talk about living a life on prayer and what prayer can look like for you as you go out with Jesus to help others see Jesus.  We will talk through three areas of prayer for you:
1.     Why should I pray?
2.     What do I pray about?
3.     How do I pray as I GO to help others connect with Jesus?

The first step in discipleship according to the 4 C’s (talked about in a previous podcast and in my book “How Are You Doing?”).  However, many people feel they can’t connect with people, they feel it is awkward and not a simple process.  I have heard from many people that they can’t talk to people because they are introverted or they do not know what to say.  In this episode we'll explore three simple yet profound teachings for building meaningful connections with others:
 
1.     Ask Open-Ended Questions: Discover the art of asking questions that invite deeper conversations, creating opportunities for genuine connection.
2.     Listen for Connection Points: Learn the skill of active listening to uncover shared experiences and establish rapport effortlessly.
3.     Go into Conversation with the Intention of Getting to Know the Person: Explore the transformative power of approaching conversations with a genuine curiosity about others.

He arrived in the United States in 2002 after serving as a missionary/church planter in Ecuador for 12 years. His journey is a testament to his profound commitment to spreading the Gospel.
