Metal Hammer of Doom: Monster Magnet - Mindfucker

Metal Hammer of Doom: Monster Magnet - Mindfucker

    Original airdate 5/10/18

Mark Radulich, Jesse Starcher, and Robert Cooper review the latest album from Monster Magnet entitled Mindfucker on Metal Hammer of Doom.

MONSTER MAGNET put the pedal to the metal with “MINDFUCKER", their tenth record. In terms of power driven Stoner Rock these gentlemen from New Jersey belong to the measure of all things. But “MINDFUCKER" is different, a step forward and a step back at the same time to the almighty roots of beat music. Dave manipulates his guitar with rich virility and the drive of his shifty soul. Wyndorf seeks and finds: Timeless songs, kindled by the unpretentious Proto-punk era. “MINDFUCKER” pumps and scratches at every turn! Dave fires off piercing calls over neckbreaking guitar work and whirlwinds of psychedelic solos. All things are in constant motion with a sound of groovy straightforwardness, always heading for the essence of "the" song. "Why you gonna fuck with my head?", screams Wyndorf their credo in the title track. Up tempo, savage in both sound and spirit, MINDFUCKER is the real deal!

Screaming Boy 29: What Happened to MoviePass?

Screaming Boy 29: What Happened to MoviePass?

Join Jesse, Ronnie and special guest Mark Radulich as they ask the question...what happened, Movie Pass?? Questions all around as the guys tackle what was once the best movie ticket subscription around.

MoviePass, Inc. is an American subscription-based movie ticketing service owned by co-founder Stacy Spikes.

The service was launched in 2011 and allowed subscribers to purchase up to a movie ticket a day for a monthly fee. The service utilized a mobile app, where users check in to a theater and choose a movie and showtime, which resulted in the cost of the ticket being loaded to a prepaid debit card, which was used to purchase the ticket from the movie theater.
