I believe as many do that God’s Love is the ultimate TRUTH. That aside, consider the possibility of another TRUTH…The TRUTH that FREEDOM is intricately connected to LIFE, not as an ethereal concept, rather literal. We have the FREEDOM to create our LIFE!

Personally I believe before birth we chose essentially who we were, and created a vision of what our life might become. However, for the purpose of our discussion today, let’s take this concept from the moment of birth, and look at the connection FREEDOM has had to create our world step by step, and minute by minute.

As a newborn we chose to cry and chose to be comforted. We chose to connect to those around us, and rejected things as a matter of choice that created who we became, and the world we lived into. In a real sense we have the FREEDOM to make these choices and create our world as we go along.

As young people we decide what we believe and continue making choices every minute of every day. Those choices are freely made and create our lives. Literally. As adults this continues in our vocation, lifelong mates and everything we interact with. We choose.

Some might argue that we didn’t get to choose the circumstance to which we were born into, the wealth or lack thereof our parents provided, us and the language we ultimately call our native tongue. True, and yet within all circumstances of life we choose what we do with the circumstances we are given.

The argument could be made that some were born into abject poverty, and surely have no FREEDOM of choice in the matter. And yet, countless people throughout time have experienced just that, and freed themselves, created fortunes and chose to live a life arguably out of their reach, and impossible. Yet they did. They freely created their life and lived into it.

What of those who didn’t free themselves from the bonds of prison, re-education camps, or domestic violence? Are they somehow to blame for their life? The answer is no, and again ancient accounts of whole civilizations became powerful even in the worst imaginable situations. They chose to be free from within the walls of captivity, and in doing so created their world of FREEDOM.

If we then are looking for the TRUTH, we must look at what we create from our circumstances and the life we create from the moment of our first cry until the day we take our last breath. FREEDOM to create our life is what we have been given, I believe from God, to create our life in a very real way. We all do, and yet do we recognize how powerful this actually is?

FREEDOM is the LIFE created by you. You are free…Go create!

Has anyone else noticed that there is a narrative in mainstream media that seems not only inaccurate, it seems a mirror image of what actually is? At times the current narrative seems actually backward, and upside-down. In this bizarre world of opposites anything seems plausible…This is BRANDING.

BRANDING is a powerful tool in marketing, moves huge companies to huge profits, gets us to buy things we probably don’t need, and sometimes aren’t good for us, and are at times down right destructive to our well being. Masters of BRANDING spend billions in maintaining, upgrading and manipulating a BRAND to do what? Sell!

We are being sold daily, hour by hour, and minute by minute, and we know it. We even accept it and in the end we still buy stuff. The proof that marketing works is in the “what is,” and the “what is” is that we buy.

Government has always been about BRANDING. The interesting fact, yes I used the word “fact,” is that political BRANDS have flipped flopped so much that the average person doesn’t know the truth any longer and “buys” the a specific BRAND not for what it does, rather for what the BRAND says it does.

Don’t get me wrong. There will be no moralizing here. BRANDS are meant to sell nothing more, and nothing less and everybody uses them. However when a BRAND openly uses Marxist, or Fascists tactics, and labels any opposing group Fascists there is a direct contradiction.

The same is true of racism. When one group, any group, demonizes another group because of their skin color or ancestral background and then calls the others “racists”something very powerfully afoot. BRANDING.

As we look back in our own recent history to communist takeovers that have left over 100 million dead, or the Nazi regime that took the lives of 16 million, this mass murder is done through BRANDING and allows people to accept and even feel good about it.

Wikipedia says:

Democide is the murder of any person or people by their government, including genocide, politicide and mass murder. Democide is not necessarily the elimination of entire cultural groups but rather groups within the country that the government feels need to be eradicated for political reasons and due to claimed future threats.

This Democide is happening today, right now in Communist China. Here’s an example of the current, active branding the Chinese government is using today in response to accusations of actions taken against the Uyghurs, a predominately Muslim ethnic minority:

“China has rejected the report as “wholly without factual basis” and claims its   mass detention of Muslim minorities is part of a “vocational training” program to counter extremism.” DemocracyNow.org

This is not unique to Communist China. In our own country one BRAND is publicly calling for the “reprogramming of conservatives.” Make no mistake, this is how it all starts.

When we speak of FREEDOM we must not be fooled by clever BRANDING. We must look at the PRINCIPLES of FREEDOM itself and judge. Is what they are saying what they are doing, and if what they are doing is not a true PRINCIPLE of FREEDOM it is something else…

Where does all this lead? Ask the Uyghurs in China with 1 million muslims being held in secretive detention camps. The detention, re-education and killing of millions of people is not a PRINCIPLE of FREEDOM. Period.

Look deeper than the BRAND you are buying. Look past the packaging, and clever words and look for the BRAND of FREEDOM!

There are FREEDOM Givers and FREEDOM takers. In this discussion of REAL FREEDOM we will explore this phenomenon. Remember this is a conversation, and your opinions matter. So express them.

FREEDOM Givers, and Takers live at opposite ends of the spectrum. This is just “what is” and through interaction and observation of PRINCIPLES “what is” makes itself clear. Always.

For our discussion today we will look at FREEDOM Takers first. If the word “FREEDOM Taker” has a negative effect feel free to substitute FREEDOM controller, or FREEDOM overseer, or FREEDOM decider. There are perhaps many more terms that would or could apply, and a justification for all could be made.

For today we have chosen FREEDOM Taker as a simple way to describe “what is.” We will distinguish FREEDOM Takers as those that believe FREEDOM is something that needs to be taken, controlled, overseen or decided for a general population, and then given back in proper measure as a specific group of controllers, overseers, or deciders see fit. Simple.

The premise here is that people do not have the ability to govern themselves and will not make the appropriate choices that are best for all. There is instead a special group that will make the decisions for everyone and they are not freely chosen by the untrustworthy populace.

Although there may be, and mostly is some appearance of choice through manipulated elections and propaganda, everyone knows that “they” will stay in charge and not to worry as “they” have our better good in mind and “they” will make decisions for all of us. In fact “they” have TAKEN FREEDOM from the common people, and their premise is that it’s for the better good.

FREEDOM GIVERS, on the other hand could also be called FREEDOM seekers, FREEDOM sharers, or FREEDOM believers. FREEDOM GIVERS actually believe FREEDOM belongs to people by virtue of being a person. Their main purpose is to see that as much of that FREEDOM remains with the people as possible.

Perfect? No, not by any means as FREEDOM GIVERS have also been power grabbers, oppressors, and self serving throughout the world and throughout time.

However, as this group comes into power they continually choose to set people free, vote for, and fight for more and more FREEDOM for all. Look at all modern FREEDOM GIVING governments and their evolution toward FREEDOM giving throughout time.

The basic premise here is the PRINCIPLE by which each of these groups operate. Do they seek to TAKE, control, oversee or decide for others, or GIVE, seek, share, and believe that FREEDOM belongs to the people?

One last consideration is that FREEDOM Givers actually freely “give” FREEDOM to FREEDOM Takers as a mater of principle and the more power the Takers get the more FREEDOM is Taken. Another discussion for another day.
