Red-Hot White-Hot is KCL's flagship news show airing live on Wednesdays early evening and in podcast form the Friday after airing. The format is a current events roundtable that focuses on a single topic per hour-ish long episode. The show brings together KCL students and professionals from along the opinion spectrum who are experts on the day's topic. This is your platform, for your passions - we are just here to facilitate. The show is hosted by Shona Karp, a Strategic Communications MA student in the War Studies department, and produced by Clémence Hughes, a Culture, Media, and Creative Industries MA student in the Arts and Humanities department. We record in Bush House on the Strand in the heart of London.

Ep. 4 - Afghan Peace Process
In episode four, Shona welcomes Nicholas Hayden, Emmy-award-winning-journalist and entrepreneur Peter Jouvenal, and retired U.S. diplomat Craig Karp for an in depth discussion of the ongoing Afghan peace talks. Together they dig into the eventful history leading up to this make or break moment.

Ep. 3 - BLM and the Black Experience in Britain
In episode three, Shona is joined by co-host Yassine Lutumba and guests Kwame Boateng of The Black Curriculum, and Dr Ricardo Twumasi, Professor of Organisational Psychiatry and Psychology at King’s College London. Together, they dive into the Black Lives Matter movement, the Black experience in Britain, decolonizing curricula, the African diaspora, Black power-washing, and so much more.

In episode two, Shona chats with Essi Ranta, Will Newland, Kailun Zhang, and Elizabeth Fry about the ups and downs of student life in quarantine. They discuss evacuating London and the status of the pandemic around the world. Lastly, Shona is joined by a special guest, who discusses her experience of contracting Covid-19. In the first episode of Red-Hot White Hot, Shona is joined by Dr. Alan Wager of UKICE and Claire Ruiz, a fellow KCL student. They discuss how Brexit can no longer be referred to as "Brexit," how it will impact students studying abroad, how trade will be dealt with, and what it really means for Ireland.
