Anthony "Klassic Kanec" Carr
Born and raised in the Bronx, the Birth Place of Hip Hop, internationally accredited dancer/choreographer/actor, Anthony “Kanec” Carr, has shared his talent through various mediums including television, film, and stage.
He trained vigorously at New York City’s prestigious School of American Ballet, while simultaneously attending the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS). At the age of 17, Kanec began training in hip-hop at Broadway Dance Center. Soon thereafter, he became a member of an elite group of entertainers, The Amount Boyz. His raw talent and intense technical training, in combination with his natural knack for performing and the inspiration from his fellow group members, Kanec soon found himself on pop-star, Justin Bieber's, World Tour.
Kanec can be seen working with multi-platinum selling recording artist Missy Elliott, with whom he’s performed the Katy Perry SuperBowl Halftime Show with. Along with Missy Elliot, Kanec has performed with Nicki Minaj, Usher, Chris Brown, TLC and Nick Jonas to name a few. He has also been a featured dancer in multiple movies and television shows (Step Up 1& 3), FAME, Hairspray, Justin Bieber 3D Movie, Glee) and performed on many high profile stages such as the Grammys and the Oscars as well as all of the other musical Award Shows!

Netflix’s first live action movie musical features 8 songs written by Philip Lawrence and Davy Nathan and one song written by John Legend. All songs were produced by Harvey Mason Jr., Philip Lawrence and Davy Nathan. Within 3 days it became the #1 movie on Netflix worldwide. The soundtrack is currently at #2 on iTunes.

Produced ‘Party Goes Harder’ for Jacob Sartorius (Link).
Wrote, produced and played on ‘Language of Love’ for Argentinian jazz singer Karen Souza (Link).
2018:
Release of Jessie J’s Christmas album ‘THIS CHRISTMAS DAY’. Davy co-arranged, co-produced and played piano on ‘White Christmas’ with Rodney Jerkins. Link
Produced 2 songs on ‘THE GREATEST SHOWMAN: REIMAGINED’ album which came out in November 2018. Together with Philip Lawrence, they produced ‘Come Alive’ featuring Jess Glynn and Years & Years (Link), and ‘This is me’ featuring Keala Settle, Kesha and Missy Elliot (Link).
Contributed some music to Happy Madison’s new Netflix movie ‘Father of the year’.
2017:
Received a Grammy Nomination for 'Best Gospel Album', co-writing and co-producing on Tim Bowman Jr.'s release 'Listen'.
Several songs co-wrote and co-produced with Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins were featured on the hit Fox TV shows 'Empire' and 'Star'.
