Or at least it has been somehow altered, away from its original meaning, by our traditions and creeds. We also need to rethink because it's exactly what we don't want to do on our own. It's a human condition to want to hunker down and think the same way we've always thought. But intelligence in the modern era is more about how adaptable to change we are... than our unwillingness to think about something new.
