Left liberalism used to be the predominant ideology of the left in the United States and Canada. Now, the term liberalism is used by illiberal progressives. Real left liberals are marginalized in both the United States and Canada. This show focuses on the US, but talks about Canada and Italy at times. It is part about an ideological program and part educational. I will look at left liberalism as well as other kinds of liberalism, including liberal democracy and liberalism in International Relations. The hope is to rally support for a liberal political movement that will oppose progressivism.
