InnovAiT January 24: Sepsis
 
In this podcast, Dr Sadiya Ayaz, a GP trainer and appraiser, chats with Dr Lizzy Morgan as they discuss her InnovAiT article ‘Could this be sepsis?’ Sepsis is a common and dangerous condition, and early recognition and initiation of appropriate management has significant impact on morbidity and mortality. Dr Morgan gives us an insightful overview of how to identify sepsis in primary care, risk factors for sepsis and guidance on referral to secondary care to ensure we can manage sepsis safely and effectively.  

We spend one-third of our life asleep. Sleep deprivation is not an uncommon presentation in general practice and we know how much it can impact on health and wellbeing.
