What most of the resistance in accepting modern cosmology for young earth creationists isn't based on wether or not God was the first cause. Most of the debate is about the definition of a day in the creation account. The whole artifice of rejecting cosmology and other scientific suggestions and implications is based on the hard adherence to six rotations of earth. Is this the way we are supposed to understand the timeline? What does verse fourteen tell us?
