Ep. 65: A Worthy Successor: Black Panther Wakanda Forever

The time has come to talk about one of, if not the most, highly anticipated movies of 2022. After Chadwick Boseman’s passing, it was clear he could never be replaced. And in turn, Ryan Coogler and his team have taken a reverent, nuanced approach to this follow up. Now Chris and Zach are sitting down to discuss this powerful entry in the MCU.

Ep. 64: House of the Dragon: A House Divided

HBO is back at it with the world of Ice and Fire, courtesy of George R.R. Martin. And you know what that means. More sex. More violence. More fore. More Blood. And more relatives getting way too friendly with one another. It’s like we never left! Now Chris and Zach are going to break down everything that made this season of politics and backstabbing as good as it was. It’s dragon vs. dragon now. And you thought your family get-togethers were bad!

Ep. 63: The Way of the Faithful: The Rings of Power

Ep. 63: The Way of the Faithful: The Rings of Power

We live in an internet age of absolutes. You either have to love something or you have to hate it. And in the case of Amazon’s Rings of Power series, there have been some cartoonishly harsh criticisms hurled its way. Is the show perfect? Obviously not. But it’s about the long game. The way of the faithful is committing to pay the price, even if the cost cannot be known, and trusting that, in the end, it will be worth it. And for what it’s worth, we think this show is pretty damn good.

Ep. 62: You’re a Class Act, Sister: Arcane

Ep. 62: You’re a Class Act, Sister: Arcane

Magic and fantasy action? Class warfare commentary? Deep philosophical discussions on the merits of science and when it goes too far? All of that, and also a soundtrack that slaps? Sign us up. Look, we could have done our research and written a description for this episode with all kinds of League of Legends easter eggs, but the best part about Arcane is that you don’t need to know anything about LoL to enjoy it. Or to do a podcast on it. Or write an episode description.

Ep. 61: It’s Showtime: Better Call Saul

With Better Call Saul having recently come to an end, Chris and Zach sit down to discuss this fantastic series, from the amazing characters to the unforgettable plot, the masterful direction, and everything else they can think of. Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould crafted one hell of a character study, giving us a spinoff every bit as good as its source material, and in some cases, maybe even better!
