Get your questions in for Mina and Nicky for the Serie A Chronicles Q&A show. Each week we answer your questions tweeted to us at @serieAchronpod using the hashtag #ChroniclesQandA.

    This week's questions:

No mention of McKennie in your Juve MF discussion? Does he belong? US fans of your pod want to know.
    -Patrick Casey (Rockville, Maryland)

If Kessié leaves Milan as expected in the summer, who would you both pick as a possible replacement? Or does the squad have the depth there to cover him. Could Tonali perhaps adjust his game and dovetail with Bennacer?
    -Dan Wegher (Wales)

Andrey Onana’s arrival will most likely mean the end of Handanovic’s tenure at Inter (unless ‘we’ do a Szczęsny/Buffon arrangement).
Whom between Skriniar or Barella do you see as Inter’s captain?
    -Ashkan

It was handbags at 10 paces as "La Joya" Paulo Dybala s̵t̵a̵r̵e̵d̵ ̵a̵n̵g̵r̵i̵l̵y̵ ̵i̵n̵ ̵t̵o̵ ̵t̵h̵e̵ ̵J̵u̵v̵e̵n̵t̵u̵s̵ ̵D̵i̵r̵e̵c̵t̵o̵r̵s̵'̵ ̵b̵o̵x̵ looked long and hard for a friend in the grandstand after scoring against Udinese. Will the Argentine be leaving Turin over his contract negotiation fallout or will the parties find a compromise to keep him in bianconero?
Earlier in the week, Inter took home the first silverware of the season after Alexis Sanchez sealed the win over Juve in the last minute of extra time to take out the Supercoppa Italiana.
Back in Serie A, Atalanta and Inter then played out an entertaining nil-all draw which turned the Napoli social media manager into a season ticket holder of both sides.
Nicky and Mina have praise for Torino, and in particular the management of Ivan Juric, after good wins over Fiorentina and Sampdoria.
Roma's new Portuguese international recruit Sergio Oliveira sealed a win with the only goal of the match against Cagliari on debut, and there's a coaching merry-go-round in Genova as both local clubs, Genoa and Sampdoria, have sacked their respective coaches in Andriy Shevckenko and Roberto D'Aversa.

    05:06 Dybala's contract staredown
    26:44 Supercoppa derby d'Italia

Get your questions in for Mina and Nicky for the Serie A Chronicles Q&A show. Each week we answer your questions tweeted to us at @serieAchronpod using the hashtag #ChroniclesQandA.

    This week's questions:
Could you please clarify the Covid Protocols, in particular who has the authority to postpone a match? & Why did Inter have to turn up to Bologna's ground when we all knew that the match wouldn't go ahead?
    -Sam Innamorati (Australia)

Why has De Ligt been so prone to giving away Handballs? Even if I felt yesterday's one was a bit harsh & he really had no option. But can you point out the reason why he has been like this? Or is it just bad luck? #ChroniclesQandA
    -Kartik (New Dehli)

Do you think Nicolo Rovella on loan at Genoa could be a potential candidate to step into Juve's uninspiring midfield alongside Locatelli?
    -Dan Wegher (Wales)

What makes Roma such an attractive destination for English players lately?

Mina is well again as both she and Nicky enjoyed a Christmas and new year break, and Serie A in 2022 is off to a flyer with more crazy matches and tennis scores.
The most incredible match came from the Eternal City as Allegri's Juventus staged an unexpected comeback against Mourinho's Roma in a 7-goal thriller. Mina and Nicky break down how it all happened, as well as the importance of Alvaro Morata's contribution to Juve's comeback, Jose Mourinho's lack of ideas to close out the match after Roma went ahead 3-1, and Federico Chiesa's knee injury and the implications for Juventus' season and Italy's World Cup qualification prospects.
Elsewhere, Inter continued its seemingly unstoppable run with a win over Lazio.
We break down what happened with new year match postponements and new COVID-19 protocols for the league.
Milan produced some excellent performances with wins over Roma and Venezia in the opening rounds of the year with Rafael Leão shining for the rossoneri.
And, in an interesting conversation, Nicky and Mina offer differing insights and opinions as we go deep on Lorenzo Insigne's decision to leave his home town and club Napoli to sign for Toronto FC in the MLS.

    05:28 Roma v Juventus
    31:09 COVID-19 postponement chaos
    38:04 Inter v Lazio
    47:44 Napoli and Insigne
    61:30 Milan

La Moviola: a look back at our 2021

La Moviola: a look back at our 2021

Yes, we're doing what every podcast seems to be doing lately, and looking back at some of the many Serie A Chronicles highlights of 2021.
Here's a fun episode with snippets from our guests which included Mark Bosnich, Sacha Pisani, Gabriele Marcotti and Venezia's American star Gianluca Busio.
We also take a look back at Mina's and Nicky's reaction right after Italy's final World Cup Qualifier match where they failed to qualify directly for the World Cup, and instead were left to face the dreaded playoffs.
And we laugh at Mina's shout-out to our Chronicles Tifosi with one of her famous limericks.
We'll be back to properly kick off 2022 next week after the first rounds of Serie A for the year!

    01:02 Mark Bosnich's almost-Juventus story
11:28 Sacha Pisani asks whether Federico Chiesa should be looking to move on
13:15 We got the band back together with Gab Marcotti
25:26 Gianluca Busio talks Venezia and Italian football tactics
30:03 We loved talking about Fiorentina's Dušan Vlahović
    39:09 Mancini's Italy gave us a footballing heart-attack
48:48 Mina introduces us to her poetic prowess

    Chronicles Q&A #13

    Chronicles Q&A #13

    It's our final Q&A for 2021!
Get your questions in for Mina and Nicky for the Serie A Chronicles Q&A show. Each week we answer your questions tweeted to us at @serieAchronpod using the hashtag #ChroniclesQandA.

    This week's questions:
Nicky & Mina, you two are the Serie A Santa. You get to hand out a lump of coal to one player and one coach each and a Panettone to one player and one coach each. Who is on your naughty and nice list so far this season & what flavour Panettone? Buon Natale!
-Panettone Dave (formerly Inter Dave, Hamilton, Canada)

Would it be crazy for Milan to try Theo as a left winger? I mean, he's got everything you want from your winger, plus Rebic has been out for most of the season so far.
    -Siddhant (Sagar, India)

Could we see an era of dominance for Inter over the next 5 years? Inzaghi will probably stay that long as will Beppe Marotta. Players can be sold and good replacements brought into the 3-5-2 system even on a budget. Train keeps on going year after year?
    -Superkliq1
