In this episode, Kim and Katie have a conversation all about prayer ❤️ This is a topic that’s been discussed before on the podcast, but it was great to get to sit down and revisit it. Katie shared some scripture that has impacted her prayer life and how the practice of prayer has changed for her recently. Then she and Kim take some time to talk through what prayer looks like when you’re in different seasons of life, and what might hold people back when it comes to prayer.

On September 7th, we got to gather for She Is Community Night! It was a great night filled with community, worship, and teaching from Pastor Kim on what it looks like to glorify God in the midst of suffering. It was an evening that we got to hear the truth of God’s Word and had time to respond and pray together. We are SO excited for you all to hear this episode! Kim and Katie were joined in the Studio by Izzy Dzuro and Emma Masengale, incredible young women who are living on mission where God has them right now. They bring insight into what their generation needs and how older generations can come alongside them, encourage them, and cheer them on. They also talk about how they are sharing the love of Jesus with those around them and the freedom they want to see their generation step into. 

This is such a wonderful conversation for all ages to hear and we really hope you can lean in and listen to what these girls have to share ❤️

On July 31st, we were joined by the lovely Amber Smith for She Is Community Night! Amber is a Christ follower, wife, mother, and philanthropist. She and her husband, Granger Smith, live on a little farm in central Texas with their three children, London, Lincoln, and Maverick. They also share the farm with dogs, cats, chickens, goats and in some seasons, bees. In 2019 the Smith family suffered a terrible tragedy when their youngest son River drowned. Through their pain, they felt the love and closeness of God like never before and they vowed to bring good from their suffering. For the last three years, she has shared her testimony and the hope we have in Jesus. 

We are so grateful that Amber was able to join us to share her story and bring an encouraging message of hope in the midst of suffering.
