Jake ran this marathon as a last chance effort to qualify for the 2020 Boston Marathon after falling short at Bay Of Fundy earlier in the year. Listen in to hear how Jake did.     Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in episodes, motivation has been low and training for the Chicago Marathon took precedence. Now that it is winter in Maine hopefully the podcasters can get together more and put up more content. This episode was recorded back in June but in this episode we sit down to talk with Jake Norris and Todd Michaud about their race The Bay Of Fundy Marathon back in June. We touch upon race strategy, training philosophy, milage among other things. Hope you enjoy. In the next episode we sit down with Ryan Metivier and special guest David Kesterson to talk about there upcoming ultra Last Man Standing happening in New Gloucester, Maine

    Welcome to season two where we are in a bit of a transition phase and are working to get more guests on the podcast and have changed our line-up of podcasters. Throughout the season you will hear from Scott, Alan and Jake hosting different guests from around the Maine area. So here we go onto our second season, sit back and enjoy!

    In this final episode of season one we sit down with guest Kyle Simmons and chat about the benefits of marathon training and capitalizing on the foundation that you have built up during your training cycle. We also talk about gearing up for the next season after the marathon. Kyle and Alan also talk about their experiences at Boston this year. Jake also chimes in with some questions as a beginning marathoner in regards to plans and trying to qualify for Boston.

    With the conclusion of Season one we will be starting season two with a new host line up and more guest speakers. There will be the same amount of beers and banter. Stay tuned as Jake, Alan and Scott gear up for a series on conversations with many interesting personalities.

    In the next episode we talk with Jake Norris about his upcoming marathon Bay of Fundy. We talk about his training cycle, his preparation going into the marathon and his thought process having only been his second marathon. Jake, we wish you the BEST!
