If I had to pick something to be the only piece of fictional media I could watch/read/listen to for the rest of my life I’d pick Critical Role campaign 2. Yes, because it’s like 550+ hours but also because it’s the single most enjoyable story I’ve ever had the pleasure to experience. The characters, the plots, the world building, the descriptiveness, the improv, the humour, and of course the fantastic people behind it all - you’ll fall in love with everything.
Consistently entertaining
The world and story created by the DM Matthew Mercer and the characters and personalities of the cast make for a riveting listen for the hundreds of hours of play here.
Extra credit for the longer episodes in comparison to many other actual play podcasts.
