Episode 345: Eyes, iPad Pro M4, and iOS 18
Dave and I talk about his upcoming eye surgery that just scares the hell out of me. We also talk about Dave's trip to an Apple Store to try out the new iPad Pro M4. Dave even figured out something the Apple employees didn't know how to do—I'm not surprised, he's a very smart man. Then we look at some of the rumors coming out about Apple's iOS 18 surrounding AI features and Siri.

Episode 344: Elvis, Alexa, and MacBook Air
Amazon is planning an overhaul for its personal assistant, Alexa. As part of the AI changes, rumors suggest the company is also going to charge users to get the new version to help offset the cost of development. Microsoft has said that its newest PCs are beating Apple's MacBook Air in performance and battery life benchmarks.

Episode 343: Eye Tracking, New iPads, GPT 4o
Apple unveiled some new accessibility features this week, including Eye Tracking. The iPads announced at last week's event are now avalable. The reviews have also dropped, so Dave and I take a look at what people are saying. GPT 4o was demoed and it's absolutely incredible—unless Apple has something truly amazing at WWDC, they are going to fall really far behind.

Apple announced an event for May 7, 2024, which is widely expected to showcase new iPads ahead of the companies Worldwide Developers Conference in June. At the event, or perhaps in the next version of iPadOS, the company is expected to unveil a calculator app for the device for the first time. Episode 340: Caitlin Clark, Spotify features, and Dumb comparisons
It is a big week for women's basketball as college star Caitlin Clark went No. 1 in the WNBA draft. As incredible as her college career was, some fans are outraged at her salary. Dave and I dig into how much she's getting paid and why. My iPhone doesn't connect to my new truck using CarPlay, so I can't use Maps or Apple Music. This forced me into getting a subscription to Spotify and it has some really cool features. We are all looking (cautiously) forward to AI, but some of the new products are really bad. We take a look at one of them.
