All the men are “alfa” macho and yell at all the women
I’m at episode 3 and I’m already very annoyed that ALL male characters (except the main dude) yell at the female characters whenever the female characters speak and bring up ideas, and the female characters just … take it?? All the women seem to think they deserve to be yelled at, because none of them call the men out for taking their frustrations out on them by yelling at them and talking down at them. ——— Like, dude, it’s not your wife’s fault your son is sick, your kid is not suddenly gonna get healthy just because you yell at your wife as if it’s /her/ fault none of you can sleep and your career is affected by it. What do you want her to do, /apologise/ to you for something she is not responsible for and has no control over any more than you do? ——— I just want to tell all the dudes in this drama to take responsibility for their own aggressions and emotions; don’t yell at unrelated women who have in no way caused whatever it is you’re being so pissy about. Is this really what Americans think is normal and accepted behaviour for men? The bar is so low, istg.
