This is a follow-up to my recent episode on the controversial claims by William Cheung.  Although the video was well-received by most (including a number of practitioners from Cheung’s own lineage), many seemed to miss the mark on the purpose.  My issues were on the veracity of Cheung’s claims which have little to no evidence despite the sheer magnitude of his claims.  If his claims were true, then we would expect much more evidence to support it, especially in the light of the internet and access we have to information about  lineages in Mainland China.. My video was not a slight on Cheung’s relationship with Yip Man or Bruce Lee as some attempted to strawman it into.

This is the third episode on the topic of a YouTuber who goes by the phony name of Bernard “Beerdy” McAlister.  “Beerdy” has built a large following of idiot casuals who couldn’t tell a real Bruce Lee fact apart from a Bugs Bunny storyline.  “Beerdy’s” bizarrely popular channel uses a peculiar mix of clickbait titles combined with idiot-cringe level fake Bruce Lee stories.  Unfortunately, scores of viewers who lack critical thinking skills (or the ability to do a simple Google search) somehow think that an anonymous YouTuber with phony MMA credentials has access to information and videos that the rest of the world does not.  The scope of his channel makes me feel that it is worthy to fight such massive disinformation.  In this episode, I tackle a few of “Beerdy’s” recent videos which have taken a departure from his old style.  He now seems to be posting more footage from mostly unrelated interviews in what seems to be the lazy phase of this fraudulent confidence trickster.  This time I bring some friends to share the pain of Beerdy’s latest cringebait.
