City-slicker turned Farmer & Entrepreneur, host Katelyn Duban created The Rural Woman Podcast to celebrate and amplify the voices of Women in Agriculture. Katelyn brings a unique perspective to the table and strongly believes in the power of our stories.

Jessica Garza and her husband Christopher are the owners of Moose Valley Ranch located in Springdale WA. They built the business to diversify the family ranch beyond traditional agriculture and to create growth in her local economy. Jessica creates community with rural women entrepreneurs through her event Gather, and supports other western small businesses by coordinating a large western market called Market in the Mountains. Online, she fosters connections in the PNW with a virtual Rural Chamber of Commerce and shares on farm safety, business, family, the ranch, and her specialty of Crimes against Children as a former Detective.

As of Spring 2023, Paige farms full time with her husband and the crew at Four Mile Partnership in Fillmore, SK. After a 15-year career on the "other side of the desk" as an Account Manager for multiple companies, lastly in a National role with a small-medium size crop protection company.
Paige’s primary passions are building strong, 2-way relationships with their farm network (i.e Account Managers, farmers, industry contacts), working on their farm succession and sharing those learnings and support with peers and empowering the amazing ag-women she’s collected over her career…which she believes are all divinely interconnected.

Women's Impact through Mentorship in Agriculture with Bridgette Readel
On this week's episode of The Rural Woman Podcast™, you'll meet Bridgette Readel.
Bridgette, farm kid extraordinaire, NDSU grad, and passionate agronomist is from Wishek ND and now lives in Hunter. She is a very active FFA alumnus and past state officer.
Bridgette and her husband Randy, are both heavily involved in ag where he is a Dairyland Seed rep and she is semi-retired from a 25-year career with Corteva Agriscience. They are parents of two adult children who are mostly off the payroll. Although she graduated as a high school ag teacher, Bridgette is now busy teaching adults regarding production agriculture and truly enjoys sharing the bright and positive message of ag in North Dakota.
Bridgette is the owner of Lilac Lane Media, a partner in the AgMafia and the Ag Director for WDAY radio/Flag Family Media.
