14 years and 800+ episodes of the best podcast ever!
In a world of short and shallow attention to detail but where details matter more than ever the SGU is your friend, your brain will thank you.
They have it all!
I have been listening to the SGU on and off (mostly on) since I was a 11, I’m 25 now. That fact alone should tell you what I think off the podcast, and they have been fundamental in forming my worldview. At this point critical thinking is more or less engraved in my bones.
If there is any topic that you are interested in its a safe bet that you can find a episode on it. Or if you prefer a physical format you could get their book where they compile the core of most big picture subjects. Its a great starting point in researching things that sound too good to be true or to vague to actually mean anything. From there you will most likely know what to look closer at in your own research.
